Physical Touch & Covid

Starting a business venture during the worst pandemic for over 100 years may seem foolhardy (or in my case, just before), but I see only, the opportunity to give relief to many who are silently suffering.

One of the major factors of Covid-19 has been the deprivation of human touch. Loved ones you have been unable to hug, standing close during a normal conversation with your friends and even the clambering together of fellow human beings as we enter and exit stadia, arenas and theatres as we attend sporting events or concerts, have all been missing.

Physical touch is a sensory necessity to the body, so providing a service in a sterile environment, such as a clinic, can not only provide the pain and tension relief normally associated with a good massage but it can also give the body the physical presence that has been so sadly lacking during 2020.

In any normal circumstances, massage is a wonderful stress relief medium, but in a year where any milk of kindness is accentuated, a good deep tissue massage, with all its physical benefits, and its physical touch component, may be the thing to get you through.
