ADRIAN GEE
BSc Applied Sport & Exercise Science - Level 3 Diploma Sports Massage
In 2015, having played sport at a high level, I qualified as a Personal Trainer. I decided to continue on to University and received First Class Honours in Applied Sport & Exercise Science which included a focus on correcting muscular imbalances, a great indicator of the source of many areas of pain. After working as a Personal Trainer at Pure Gym for 4 years I decided to pursue a career in Sports Massage Therapy.
In July 2019 I joined the Leigh Road Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic in the Boothstown area, just outside the west of Manchester. I established an expanding client base at the clinic and at the beginning of 2020, I agreed a rent arrangement at Dao Holistic, an established Chinese therapy clinic in the Stalybridge area of Tameside (on the east side of Manchester).
Having spent eight months at Leigh Road, the Covid-19 pandemic forced me to give up my practice in Boothstown and I decided to concentrate on my practice in Stalybridge.
It is here that I offer the best postural and corrective care available, including a thorough assessment of your posture, a high-quality massage, and an aftercare program that includes simple but effective exercises to help reduce painful re-occurrence of the condition.
I offer expert advice for both professional and amateur athletes and sportspeople. On top of a massage that professional athletes would expect to receive, I provide helpful hints on training modifications specific to your sport or activity to help prevent injuries and try to develop the extra 2% that can be the difference between winning and losing.
It is my wish to use my skills to reduce any painful symptoms or conditions you have and to help you achieve your athletic potential, be that a winning goal or a personal best time in a half-marathon.
I endeavor to make each and every visit a warm and friendly experience whilst maintaining the highest standards of medical and massage practice.
